Alex and I still haven't decided on a name for sure for our baby girl. We like Hadassah Hart.
But Alex had mentioned the name Virginia before. He has an aunt named Virginia he really likes, and my Grandma Barnhart's name was Virginia.
So now, I kinda like the name Virginia Hope.....Hope would be after my cousin Josh Hope who was murdered.
Ideas? Which one do YOU like??
I LOVEEEEE that name!!! Go with that one....it's so pretty and has so much meaning :)
ReplyDeleteI don't like the meaning of Hadassah...that was one of the things I'm hung up on....it means myrtle (like a tree) Virginia means "maiden" Not an OH WOW kinda meaning...but still good :)
ReplyDeleteI vote Viginia. It's very pretty, but still unique.
ReplyDeleteVirginia Hope :)
ReplyDeleteVirginia Hope :)
ReplyDeleteVirginia Hope is a lovely name... or she can be Ginny when she gets older (which is also cute!).
ReplyDeleteI am voting Virginia Hope...and aunts vote count for two....Aunt Stephanie
ReplyDeleteIf you named her Hadassah...you have to realize the mean kids in the schools would make fun of that name in so many ways..lol.
ReplyDeleteGinny is a cute nick name for her. What about Hope Virginia?
Give her a biblical name with a good meaning not just a name that sounds good. Rememeber what Bro. Branham said about naming children.
ReplyDeleteI vote Virginia Hope! I think that's a very pretty name :o)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the decision making! I know it can be kind of hard. I always ask myself the question :"Am I going to want to say this name 40 times a day for the rest of my life?"
I love Virginia.. That was my grandmother's name.. I never met her but they said she was sweet lady.. :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't Hadassah mean star? I personally don't like Virginia...it makes me think of an older woman, but I really like the idea of using Hope as a middle name and I think Hart is a great idea also. Hadassah Hope? :P
ReplyDeleteHadassah Hope - a beautiful name.
ReplyDeleteLol....I'm glad I have 4 months still to name her. We still arent sure what we're gonna name her
